About the laundry, I learned from a YT channel, 23 fox place I think, where she programs her washing machine in the morning for the load to be ready when she wakes up, so all she does is pur in in the dryer and program next days laundry. I found it interesting. I am trying it as soon as my laundry room is relocated😅 (soon). Also the idea of no laundry baskets I learned from Minimal Mom. I am happy it works for you.

Thankyou for the great tips..never ending tasks . I have lacked motivation lately, and procrastinate, but working on paving and gardening projects . Have many projects on a list incl scraping paint and bleach for bathroom...and on and on ...🙄

New to your channel. Basically my Sunday resets consist of me is first changing my warmers, straightening up my bathroom, and kitchen. I don’t always do my laundry each week. These last few weeks of my summer I’m planning on creating a daily routine and schedule of what I want done and need done. I’d like to improve my routines for Saturday mornings. During the school year I don’t work Saturday mornings at the store or either Sundays so my only day off is Sundays. I want to utilize my mornings during the weeks so I’m creating a routine for my Saturday mornings instead of just going lounging around until I get ready to go to work. My body wakes up early but I mentally don’t get woken up until around mid morning. I feel I totally could get more done during those midday hours.

Don’t used bleach . You will ruin all the pipes . That is what the plumber told my mother!

My husband dry cleans all his clothes. Thank goodness. lol

I find I have to just fit things in too. I don't iron. My husband is a truck driver so no ironing 😆 If my girls need any ironing, they will do it themselves. They are 19 and 20. I hope you have a blessed week!

I have watched just about all of your videos. I’m not sure why you do not have as many views as you do, because you are the first one that I came across that really explains the fly lady system thoroughly and understandable (in my opinion). I have tried this system but I get overwhelmed sometimes. I am planning on using your task based deep cleaning. Thank you for explaining all of this so well. I think it’s great that your son helped in VBS. My church just had ours this past week. Working in VBS takes a lot of volunteers and I think it’s great he helped!

My summers, even when routines are not the same is when I get back on track to zone cleaning and laundry schedule😅 This week our zone is bedrooms and bathrooms and we are all on the wagon to get it done😅 my oldest is happybto get back to the routine of a monthly deep cleaning, he is very tidy and clean but he stopped deep cleaning a while ago. He is inspired and inspiring his siblings too, hehe. They are totally responsible for their rooms, so we are getting back determined😅

I visited my family! They are a 24 hour drive away, but we break it up to 2-3 days of driving. I’m looking forward to getting fresh produce from our garden.

I never able to get to a good cleaning routine. I have done zone clearing in the past and of course got side tracked and stopped. I usually pick up and vacuum and never really get down to the grime, I find myself getting involved everywhere and nothing gets done

Interesting For me, I've referenced Flylady for a long while but never consistently and didn't know why. Your video of 9 tasks for each room (ceiling to floor) was great timing for me and I applied that list of things for each zone. So I now have evenly divided my rooms into 5 zones and check off the 9 tasks one day a week. Thank you!

I a combo of both now. I use Flylady's zone cleaning, but I do a 6 week rotation. The first 5cweeks, I'm doing a zone per week. I took your flex zone idea and I love it. Now, I break the zone cleaning g down by tasks, doing a different task eCh day. So, 1 day I de-clutter in that zone. If it doesn't need de-cluttering, Then I'll either do some re-orgsnisinv or I'll de-clutter in an area that's still in messy house boot camp. The next day, I'll deep clean the hidden areas (cabinets, drawers, etc) of that zone. The next day I'll deep clean the visible surfaces. The next day I'll do a detailed mopping, and the next day I'll detail vacuu. Also, I do different weekly cleaning g jobs ea h day, along with the zone ckeaning. The weekly ckeaning tasks are simple tasks. I save the quick non-detailed mopping and vacuuming g of tge main areas for the days when mop and vacuum in my zone, so that I'm not bringing out tge mop and vacuum multiple times throughout the week.

I do both! Yes depends on the season of life too! I do seasonal deep cleaning, baseboards, crown molding behind fridge etc. I pick one a season to do this seasonal deep cleaning, things that only need sone once a year. Then I have monthly deep cleaning whenever I get to it. Things that need sone more often deep mopping as opposed to quick mop, deep dusting & polishing as opposed ti dry dusting etc. I only have 3 zones I move through them one zone each season and sometimes take a break during the thanksgiving and Xmas etc Each room gets touched lightly during daily chores every day. Mostly pick up and put away and quick mop & vacuum if needed.

I preferred staying in one room, helps me stay focused BUT if I'm deep cleaning blinds I better do all that at once or it ain't getting done 😂

why why whyyyyy I just saw this.... I love this system so much... it resonate so much with me.... This planner for Home management is ideal, at least for me. All of us are different and work different, but I liked this so much. I would prefer an academic planner. This academic year I will be using a work planner and personal planner apart... but needed something more inclined to home management / tracker / journal ... Thank you for the details...

My zones are like yours. I set up with task based thinking too. Get bath supplies out for all baths, zone 3. Living & Family & hall use same supplies, so that is my zone 2. I have 5 zones. 1-4 are every month. 5 is for remaining weeks, about 8-9 months a year.
